Good morning! If the city is able, I would recommend making changes to the stop signs at the intersection of Grand Ave & MLKJ Blvd. Grand Ave has a lot of traffic going through town eastbound and westbound—including a lot of people who (like me) are highway drivers traveling through town and not very familiar with the layout of Clovis. It would be nice (and safer, I think) if the stop signs at this intersection had flashing red lights on them or something to make them more prominent and easily visible. At least once, I have had to slam on the brakes at this intersection because I didn't realize the stops signs were there until I had come up close to them. Especially heading westbound, a lot of drivers could be tempted to think that there aren't any more stops, and that they're good to cruise on into open highway. I'm not sure if the city has noticed a lot of accidents at this intersection, but I think it would be an improvement to the safety of this area if there were lights or something to draw more attention to the stop signs here.
