  • 6336 Ferry Dr - Sandy Springs
This property has been empty with boarded up windows for about a year. Someone reported the eyesore in January and the yard was cleaned up, but it has not been touched since and the weeds are awful again. Not only is it ugly, but those untended weeds are blowing into the surrounding properties. Home owners have a responsibility to maintain their property and it adversely impact the neighborhood. Please insure the yard is cleared of the overgrowth. I am also concerned about an empty, boarded up house attracting vagrants and vermin. The house is not inhabitable—shouldn’t it have to be torn down or refurbished in a reasonable timeframe? It is on the main thoroughfare to City Springs. Not a good look for our city. Thank you for your attention to this ongoing issue.

Loud groaning AC units at Life Center Ministries. 8:45 PM on Tuesday. Loud enough to be heard inside of my home. This is a clear violation of the City Code pertaining to nuisance. This code violation needs to be addressed.

  • 795 Overhill Ct Nw Sandy Springs 30328, United States - Sandy Springs
A person at 795 Overhill Court has been using a very loud commercial grade blower late in the afternoon and into the evening on Saturdays and Sundays. This is the prime time for his neighbors to be enjoying their time on porches, decks and yards. We live directly behind this house and this has been going on for several years. While he is blowing, it is completely unbearable to try to sit on our porch and enjoy conversation. Much less open a window in our sunroom. We have had several occasions where we just simply come inside. Last night, Saturday 3/19, he used the blower constantly, without stopping, for approximately an hour and fifteen minutes, from around 7:30 to 8:45pm. Today, Sunday 3/20, he began blowing at 4:50pm and as of this moment, at 5:45pm he is still blowing. The blowing/noise has been constant, he does not stop. Additionally, it is not fall, there is no pollen yet, what in the world could he be blowing??? I am aware of the noise ordinance for commercial landscaping and am hoping something similar will apply to homeowners using a commercial grade blower for this long and this late in the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Thank you for your assistance.
